CATEGORY: JUST MAKING A STATEMENT
TERRIFYING KNOWLEDGE FOR ALL BEINGS
This is what the devils tremble at, "the devils also believe, and tremble" (James 2:19) - one God who can be everywhere at the same time, even they are engulfed in him; how can they do evil and he not see or they getting away with it? Even further, he controls all their affairs invisibly, though they do thus. That is completely terrifying to know. It's like saying you're trying to run away from away "air" or hide from it to do evil; not knowing you can't exist without it and it is everywhere. I marvel sometimes why do devils do what they do. In fact, the Devil is not a fool, he somewhat knows God's intent for him, yet he is said he is in rebellion with this friends. If he were truly in rebellion or had the power to be he wouldn't fulfill prophecy and attack the saints or even be the person behind Armageddon, knowing that he will lose. But like Pharaoh, whom heart God harden, he is fixed in his ways for destruction. Just to show you that God has a grip on it, notice:
  • He loose the Devil and his angels to do their stuff (Rev 9:1-21), allowed them to do even more stuff (Rev 11:7), even pull them together to do it sometimes, not even them can do their evil by themselves (Rev 17:17), then at the first resurrection he says to the beast and false prophet you're out, don't need you anymore be gone in the lake of Fire (Rev 19:20), but I need Death and Hell so ordinary people could keep on dying in the 1000 year reign and I need satan again to tempt them at the end of it, so he send an ordinary angel with chains to bound him in the bottomless (Rev 20:2), at the end of the 1000 years he looses satan and says try it again, foolish satan has no choice but to follow (Rev 20:7-8), he's then destroyed at the battle of Gog and Magog (Rev 20:9), he's thrown in the lake of fire with the beast and false prophet, in other words, don't need you in the game any more, out (Rev 20:10), then he says to Death and Hell, I don't need people dying again, all things are made new and people will live forever, be gone into the lake of fire (Rev 20:14). He then closes the book and says game over, those who were foolish enough to see this and reverence God wins (Rev 21)!
If you were truly rebellious wouldn't you just sit there and do nothing, but satan cannot, none of us can. You can't even believe if God doesn't make you believe. If God predestined you to be good, you can't be bad and if God predestined you evil you can't be good. If God desires for you to do a thing you can't wrestle out of God's hand (Isa 43:13), you have to do it - there is only one boss! You don't even control yourself or nothing about you, God controls everything and every being. The sooner you realize this is the sooner you'll sit still and decide in your mind to repent. Again, speaking foolishly, because after having said thus, I say this. That's why the gospel is to them that entertain foolishness (1 Cor 1:18). By the way, by seeing this simple illustration, if you really want to fear someone, fear God only!
